Intro To Level Design is a beginner’s look at the process of level design. Participants of this workshop will be split into teams and design a level from blank paper all the way to concept sketches, mock-ups and a completed LDD (level design dock) in a two session workshop. This workshop series will go through how to design a level and make it fit the theme and rules of the game, how to troubleshoot the level before it is even built, and how to think strategically on placement of game objects and design.
Please bring drawing paper, 2b pencil (3b-6b would be a good idea), laptop / tablet with word processor and Illustrator/Photoshop preferred but not required.
